This course will give you sound knowledge and understanding in the core aspects of electrical engineering while giving you the opportunity to specialise in several key areas.

You will learn about: electrical machine principals for motors and transformers; different types of three phase systems; basic electrical concepts; maths in an engineering context and develop your IT skills; modern business environment.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher, preferably Maths; or Foundation Apprenticeship Engineering; or NC Electrical Engineering (Level 6); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Entry subject to interview.
