This qualification is ideal if you have management responsibilities but no formal training. On this programme we will explore different management and leadership theories/techniques and investigate how these apply in the real world.

This course is particularly suited to practising team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management and managers who need to lead people through organisational change, budget cuts or other team pressures.

On this course you will learn:

How to plan, organise and delegate work; To use problem solving techniques to make more effective decisions; How to recruit, select and induct new staff; The health and safety responsibilities of a manager; How to create personal development plans for yourself and others; How to develop your leadership skills and how to apply and action learning to your own development.
