If you're interested in sound production and engineering and would like to influence the music and sounds we listen to on a daily basis, the HNC Sound Production will give you the basic qualifications required to follow this path.

Mandatory units are:
Acoustics 1; Creative industries infrastructure; Digital audio workstations 1; Sound production graded unit 1; Sound production practice 1; Sound production theory 1; Working in the creative industries; Sound production: location recording

Options may include:
Multi-track recording; Sound reinforcement 1; Introduction to audio for multimedia

Option units available may vary depending on study location, for more information contact your chosen campus.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher, preferably English, Maths, Music or Physics, or NC Music or Sound Production. You may be required to attend for interview.
