This is one of the degrees pathways on the MSc International Business group of degrees. This degree allows you to focus on investment as your specialism. Alongside the core international business modules, you will have the opportunity to study such areas as security analysis, equity valuation, investment management and emerging financial markets.
From your core modules, you will learn to understand and analyse a range of international strategies and business relevant for the modern global economy. You will also engage with key areas such as global risk analysis, global financial markets, international trade and global investment.
International Business MSc is dual accredited by CMI. This means you will automatically receive a second professional qualification upon successful completion of your degree.
You will choose at least three compulsory modules from:
Investment Management; Securities Analysis and Equity Valuation; Emerging Financial Markets and Investment; Financial Statements and Analysis
And choose up to one option from:
Financial Regulation and Ethics; Forecasting for Business and Finance; Global Financial Markets; Risk Management in Banking; Elements of Business Analytics.
Generally a good (at least a second class Honours degree or equivalent) first degree in any subject which has enabled the applicant to develop analytical and quantitative skills. If you are concerned that your qualifications do not meet our normal expectation you may apply, but you should include a short personal statement concerning your general interest in your own education, work experience and prior relevant learning.
