This is one of the degrees pathways on the MSc International Business group of degrees. This degree allows you to focus on human resources (HRM) as your specialism. Alongside the core international business modules, you will study HRM strategies, international HRM, behavioural insights for managers and the opportunity to cover such areas as strategic leadership and cross-cultural management.
From your core modules, you will learn to understand and analyse a range of international strategies and business relevant for the modern global economy. You will also engage with key areas such as global risk analysis, global financial markets, international trade and global investment.
International Business MSc is dual accredited by CMI. This means you will automatically receive a second professional qualification upon successful completion of your degree.
You will take an additional three compulsory modules:
Personnel Economics for Managers; Human Resource Management Strategies; International Human Resource Management
and one optional module from the following list:
Stakeholder Management and Business Ethics; Corporate Governance; Leadership and Decision Making; Business Analytics; Cross-Cultural Management; Strategic Decisions for Business.
Generally a good (at least a second class Honours degree or equivalent) first degree in any subject which has enabled the applicant to develop analytical and quantitative skills. If you are concerned that your qualifications do not meet our normal expectation you may apply, but you should include a short personal statement concerning your general interest in your own education, work experience and prior relevant learning.
