This is one of the degrees pathways on the MSc International Business group of degrees. This degree allows you to focus on finance as your specialism. Alongside the core international business modules, you will have the opportunity to explore such areas as global financial markets, financial statements and analysis, business finance forecasting and investment management.
From your core modules you will learn to understand and analyse a range of international strategies and business relevant for the modern global economy. You will also engage with key areas such as global risk analysis, global financial markets, international trade and global investment.
You will take at least three additional compulsory modules from:
Global Financial Markets; Forecasting for Business and Finance; Elements of Business Analytics;
Derivatives and Risk Management.
And one optional module from the following list:
Global Risk Analysis; Emerging Financial Markets and Investment; Investment Management; Financial Statements and Analysis.
Generally a good (at least a second class Honours degree or equivalent) first degree in any subject which has enabled the applicant to develop analytical and quantitative skills. If you are concerned that your qualifications do not meet our normal expectation you may apply, but you should include a short personal statement concerning your general interest in your own education, work experience and prior relevant learning.
