This is one of the degrees pathways on the MSc International Business group of degrees. This degree allows you to focus on the areas of accounting & finance as your specialism.
Alongside the core international business modules, you will explore strategic management accounting and global financial markets. You can also explore this area further with optional modules on international accounting reporting, emerging financial markets and global risk analysis.
International Business MSc is dual accredited by CMI. This means you will automatically receive a second professional qualification upon successful completion of your degree.
You will take two compulsory modules:
Global Financial Markets; Strategic Management Accounting.
Plus one from:
Business Accounting for Non-Specialists; International Accounting and Reporting.
Plus one optional module from the following list:
Performance Measurement and Reporting; Derivatives and Risk Management; Global Risk Analysis; Emerging Financial Markets and Investment; Investment Management; Financial Statements and Analysis; Business Analytics.
Generally a good (at least a second class Honours degree or equivalent) first degree in any subject which has enabled the applicant to develop analytical and quantitative skills. If you are concerned that your qualifications do not meet our normal expectation you may apply, but you should include a short personal statement concerning your general interest in your own education, work experience and prior relevant learning.
