On the MSc in Clinical Pharmacy you'll receive advanced training in the practice of pharmacy to enable you to deliver optimum pharmaceutical care and become a safer and more effective practitioner. You'll be taught predominately by pharmacists registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
The course content includes: communication in clinical settings; application of laboratory tests and their relevance in monitoring; principles & practice of therapeutics; pharmaceutical care and management of disease; oral communication and problem-solving; clinical, laboratory and organisational methods to monitor and assess drug therapy; delivery of clinical pharmacy services; application of research methods; a research project.
A minimum second class honours degree or international equivalent in Pharmacy plus a minimum of 12 months post-study clinical experience in a hospital environment.
