The COSA Certificate in Counselling Skills is ideal training for those who work in health, social care or related mental health fields and want to advance their communication and counselling skills within their primary role.

Successful completion of the four modules of the course give eligibility for the award of COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills. COSCA (the professional body for counselling and psychotherapy in Scotland) is the regulatory body for counselling skills in Scotland.

Entry Requirements

This course is open to all – experience in the field of health and social care or a field involving close personal contact with members of the public is recommended; however, applicants will be selected on their emotional readiness to undertake such a programme.
