Content

This programme is designed to equip candidates with the knowledge and skills required for progression to further and higher academic qualifications in Complementary Therapies, Integrative Healthcare, Science, Sports Therapy, Beauty Therapy. Healthcare or Social Care.

A mixed variety of units will be studied, providing students with underpinning knowledge of many aspects of complementary therapies, healthcare, science, nutrition and wellbeing and ICT. The core units specifically link with units set within the HNC and HND Complementary Therapies programme, thus enabling a smooth transition from this further education programme into the HNC/HND higher education programme.

In addition, students will gain a broad spectrum of healthcare and science technology, a first aid certificate and learning of the appropriate health and safety for use in the clinics and healthcare environments.
