This is a hands-on course that introduces subjects such as plant establishment, garden maintenance and plant propagation.

The content of the course introduces students to the practices of horticulture, providing students with the opportunity to develop the skills of handling tools, plant material and machinery.

Designed as an introductory course for people starting out in horticulture.

Also includes numeracy, communication, IT and employability.
