This course aims to improve the career prospects of students who are contemplating a career in the servicing or manufacturing industries or for students already working in the engineering industry.

This course will give you a thorough grounding in the engineering principles required by people employed at technician level.

The main elements of the course include:
Welding; Engineering Assembly Skills; Engineering Workshop Skills; Milling and Turning; Communication; Maths; Applying Information Technology.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English and Maths; or relevant qualifications at SCQF Level 4.
