This programme takes a multi-disciplinary approach to sustainable solutions for future energy needs, with an in-depth knowledge of the new emerging alternative technologies. It will prepare you for immediate contribution to the renewable energy sector, entering public, environmental, industry and commercial industries.

Climate change is possibly the most significant threat that humanity has ever faced. A new generation of scientists, engineers and policy-makers will need to be equipped with skills to enable them to make informed decisions on all aspects of this important and rapidly developing subject.

This Masters degree in Renewable Energy and Environmental Modelling is designed to produce graduates with a broad and balanced skills base.

You are provided with the opportunity for you to go on field trips and external conferences as a part of your coursework, and you will have the option of undertaking either an industry-based or research-related project.

Entry Requirements

An honours degree at 2:1 or equivalent in physical or engineering science is normally required, but consideration will be given to other applicants with degrees in (for example) environmental science and geography. Relevant work experience will also be taken into account.
