Content

This course offers an insight into the various issues that social scientists try to understand and offer solutions to. You’ll examine your own society and compare this to other cultures, to develop an appreciation of different ways of looking at the world. You’ll explore theoretical perspectives, as well as applying real world examples and personal experience. You’ll find it contemporary, fascinating and full of lively debate and discussion! In addition as part of the programme students complete a project with the Park Rangers at Dean Castle Country Park which may make them eligible for a variety of additional awards, such as John Muir and Saltire awards.
