The aim of the HND Agriculture is to develop practical and core skills and build competence and understanding in the areas of applied science and technology, business management, economic policy and the environment.
You will gain the skills, knowledge and understanding of animal and crop production technology, farm mechanisation, business management and managing people, which are necessary for a position as a trainee/assistant farm manager or equivalent. You will also develop you awareness of relevant health and safety, animal welfare and environmental issues.
The HND Agriculture is available across all the learning centres of Argyll College UHI
2 Highers; or NC Agriculture.
