Technical Support is a specialist troubleshooting skill which is nurtured during this course. Understanding the fundamental concepts allows the learner to develop technical knowledge as well as investigative troubleshooting skills, students successfully completing this course would be prepared for HND Technical Support.

Computers are an integral part of daily life in the 21st century. In the workplace it is important to have an understanding of a PC system. This course provides a solid foundation of computer skills upon which you can build a career.

This course is a logical progression from NQ and Higher level studies. It also appeals to those who have some experience in working in a computing environment but wish to attain qualifications to support their knowledge/skills.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher; or Foundation Apprenticeship IT: Software Development or IT: Hardware and Systems Support; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
