The course is designed to introduce you to electrical engineering and prepare you for a potential apprenticeship with Scottish Power. The course is based in both the workshop and classroom ensuring you get the combination of practical and technical skills you need for employment as an apprentice electrician.

The course will also prepare you for further study in Electrical Engineering should you wish. As part of the course, you will attend sessions with Scottish Power at their training centre and may be offered a place on their apprentice programme.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4 including English, Maths and a science subject.
