This course will cover areas such as: engineering principles, design principles, computer aided design, computer aided manufacture, computer numerical controlled manufacturing, materials science and behaviour, manufacturing methods traditional and advanced, and project management as well as the core units of Mathematics, Communication and IT.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 preferably including Maths, Physics or a science or technological subject.
Mature applicants without formal qualifications may be considered on the basis of practical experience.

Progression Routes

Progression to HNC Engineering Systems or HNC Design and employment as an apprentice within the manufacturing or design sectors.
