Core units include:
Cardiovascular training; Fixed weight training; Free weight training; Exercise to music; Circuit training; IT; Communications; Sporting activity and participation opportunities in the community; Nutrition and health; Badminton; Handball; Basic sports coaching; Human Physiology in the development of performance; Associated football; Planning personal fitness; Planning fitness for hours.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 5 preferably including English, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. You should have a keen interest in sport and fitness and demonstrate volunteering hours or work experience in a sporting facility. Successful performance at interview.
