This course is intended for those interested in pursuing further academic study in a variety of areas. It is a good place to start if you have no qualifications, or if you have very few qualifications, and if you are interested in developing your skills in academic study.

Subjects will include: English; Maths (September start courses only); A social science subject.

Entry Requirements

This course does not require you to have formal qualifications. However, you will need to be able to demonstrate an interest in learning and an ability to work at SCQF Level 4. Entry may be subject to interview.

Progression Routes

Intermediate Certificate: Pathway to HNC:/D and Degree; Intermediate Certificate: Pathway to Social Sciences; Other SCQF Level 5 courses in a range of areas, including engineering, care, social science, creative industries and much more.
