This course is for those who are enthusiastic about working as part of a team to support the delivery of integrated services. Three days each week in college will give you the opportunity to undertake a range of subjects with the focus being on learning about integrated services and the skills necessary to undertake professional roles.
You will also have the opportunity to look at personal development planning and the role it plays in your learning.
There will be a four week placement as part of the course to observe how services are moving towards integrated provision.
Units include:
Introduction to Integrated Services; Working, Learning and Practice in Relation to Social Services; How People Develop and Learn.
HNC Childhood Practice or HNC Social Services or other relevant HNC qualification. Participation at an information sessions, skills assessment and interview forms part of the selection criteria.
