On this course you'll study the practical and theoretical aspects of Plastering, which will prepare you for working in the Construction Industry. You'll also develop transferable skills such as numeracy and efficient working practices which will help you to get a job in this field.

You will study:
Health and Safety in a Construction Environment; Solid and Bench Plasterwork Skills: An Introduction; Applying Lightweight Plaster: An Introduction; Fixing Plasterboard and Applying Plastering Materials: An Introduction; Applying External Cementwork: An Introduction; Producing and Fixing Plaster Moulding: An Introduction; Numeracy; Sustainability; Construction Occupation Practices.

Entry Requirements

National 4 English, Maths or a science subject, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4 or relevant experience. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

You can expect to go on to work in plastering or related fields or progress to other NQ courses.
