This course re-introduces learners to the study of STEM subjects (Science, Technology Engineering and Maths) along with support in Communication and ICT.

It also has a strong emphasis on practical work and is intended for those interested in developing skills for a career in the fast moving engineering industry.

Waves and Radiation; Electricity and Energy; Maths Expressions and Formulae; Electronics and Control; Engineering Contexts and Challenges; Mechanisms and Structures; Maths Relationships; Physics: Dynamics and Space; Communications; ICT; Numeracy; Soldering and Circuit Assembly; Engineering Project.
