Content

The course consists of National Progression Awards in Music Technology and Digital Media and includes undertaking live sound and video at events throughout Glasgow. There will be lectures from invited speakers from the Creative Industries.

A wide range of subjects covering:
Still Image Acquisition; Still Image Editing; Audio Acquisitions; Music Tech Skills; Music tech in context; Video Acquisitions; Appreciation of Music; MIDI Sequencing; Creative Project; Sound Reinforcement; Sound Design; Sound Production.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 preferably including English and Maths. Entry subject to interview and written test.

Progression Routes

Successful completion of the NC can lead to further study on an HNC/D in an area like Sound Production, Music Business and possibly Music (if you play an instrument).
