Working in a health care setting can provide a rewarding career choice. This course develops specialist knowledge, understanding and skills required to provide high quality supportive care for a wide range of adults. It provides opportunities to gain the formal qualifications needed to progress to HNC level study in relevant disciplines.

Content:
Higher Care; Care Values; Human Development; Social Influences; Practical skills for Care; Human Biology; Communication; Numeracy; Information and Communication Technology.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 including English and Maths, or NC Child, Health and Social Care, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
