This course will lead to the SQA BSL Level 4 qualification. It follows on directly from the Introduction to British Sign Language course.
Learners will develop techniques in communicating in various social and transactional contexts.
The course also includes: using on-line resources; using the appropriate facial expressions; viewing signed presentations and taking notes; describing the placement of objects; using the correct timelines; using directional verbs. Learners will focus on topics such as food and drink, leisure activities, weather, describing people; countries and will learn how to structure simple sentences using BSL grammar and syntax.
