This course develops your knowledge and understanding for working successfully in a care practice setting. The focus is on understanding why people use care services, and developing your skills to support the health and wellbeing of others.
Throughout the course, you’ll hear from a range of guest speakers, including people from the health board and local care services.
5 relevant subjects at National 5 including English and preferably Maths; or NC Health and Social Care (Level 5); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5 . Entry is subject to an interview.
Progression on to a wide range of relevant HNC courses or employment.
