This course will give you an introduction to a career in the Events Industry. It covers a wide range of general business and specific industry-related topics to develop your knowledge and skills in events planning.

You'll study:
Events Organisation; Contribute to an Event; Events Costing; Events Costing: An Introduction; Introduction to Marketing for Events; Working Safely; Service of Food and Drink; Integrated Project; Numeracy; IT Solutions for Administrators; Local Hospitality Provision; Alcoholic Beverages: An introduction; Customer Care for Hospitality and Events; Events Industry: An Overview; Food Hygiene for the Hospitality Industry; Hospitality Events; Employability Skills.

Entry Requirements

1 subject at National 5 plus 3 at National 4. Subjects must include English and Maths. Entry subject to successful interview.
