Content

This course will develop your theoretical and practical knowledge of the electrical engineering industry, as well as helping with the specific skills you'll need to succeed. You'll be taught by staff with significant engineering experience and a proven track record of bringing out the best in their students. Throughout the course, you'll be continually assessed and you'll have the ability to discuss your evaluation of modules. You will be asked to carry out practical electrical workshop work where you will need to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

This Electrical Engineering course will equip you with an understanding of the knowledge surrounding electrical and electronic engineering technologies. You'll gain an understanding of how circuits work, the variety of components and systems that you may encounter in the Electrical Industry, together with the tools and skills required to work in the sector.

Tuesdays 9.00am - 5.00pm

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4 including Maths and a science subject, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview.
