This course provides you with an introduction to the Construction Industry. During this course, you'll be taught by staff with significant Construction Industry experience where you'll gain experience and knowledge in a variety of construction trades including bricklaying and plastering.

You'll learn a range of hand skills and practical tasks in the following trade areas: Bricklaying, Carpentry and Joinery, Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling. You'll also have the opportunity to develop skills in communication, numeracy and ICT.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. Interview.

Progression Routes

You'll be able to apply for SCQF Level 4 courses in a number of craft areas or seek employment within the Construction Industry on successful completion of the course.
