Content

Students will study key subjects such as Values and Principles, Human Development and Behaviour and Social Influences. A range of child care, social care and health care subjects will also be studied. Essential Skills such as Communication, IT and Numeracy will also be included.

In Forfar and Montrose - This course runs from 9:30am - 1:00pm, 5 mornings a week. The times remain the same throughout the year.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4.

Progression Routes

Students successfully completing all units on the course may be able to progress to the following courses: Access to Nursing; Access to Nursing and Social Services; Advanced Certificate in Health and Social Care; PDA Education Support Assistance; NC Early Education and Childcare.
