The course has a focus on highly topical subjects, opportunities to learn in and from the workplace and offers the ability to take specialist clinical and practice routes (eg musculoskeletal physiotherapy, neurological physiotherapy, cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, paediatric physiotherapy, leadership and management, and education).

Aside from the academic modules, you will also be involved in a ‘Learning in Community Programme’. This includes study skills training and opportunities and guidance to increase your employability, including guidance on professional registration.

Entry Requirements

BSc Physiotherapy or equivalent. Diploma holders are considered (contact the admissions tutor for advice). Ideally candidates should have up to one year of full time postgraduate clinical experience (although this is not mandatory) and ideally an academic score of 60%, or over, for the last two years of their undergraduate degree.

Progression Routes

This course will enable you to focus your continuing professional development in relation to clinical physiotherapy practice and physiotherapy research. It is intended to enhance your clinical, research and education career opportunities both in the UK and internationally.
