The MSc in Advanced Computing is a post graduate programme focusing on teaching advance topics of the internet-of-things and big data. It is designed to develop practical skills by providing a comprehensive understanding of fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience of advance computing technologies within industry and academia.
Common modules will focus on planning, analysing, developing, evaluating, deploying, and managing advanced computing systems/services for modern day organisations/businesses. All common modules are designed to respect the overarching themes of advanced computing, delivering research informed teaching in lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions; other modules will focus on academic, research and ethical practices within a professional environment.
You can exit after 18 months with a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Computing.
You should possess an Honours Degree (2.2 or above) in Computing/ Engineering (or Relevant Disciplines) from a UK academic institute or an equivalent 4-year international degree qualification.
