Content

This course is designed to provide students with opportunities to develop knowledge, understanding and transferable skills in the fields of health and social care.

Units include:
Human Development; Social Influences; Care: Values and Principles; Communication; Numeracy; Information Technology; National 5 Care.

A Community Project will allow students to appreciate the qualities, attitudes and skills required within a care setting, whilst preparing students for progression to higher education, employment and/or further training within health or social care.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5, 2 at A or B (one of which must be English) and 2 at A-D; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
