The specific aim of this course is to develop further hairdressing skills. To expand knowledge and understanding, increase confidence, develop creativity and work towards completing services to commercial salon time frames.

Content:
Commercial Experience; Hair Colouring and Lightening; Colour Correction; Combination Haircutting;
Hairdressing: Long Hair Design; Styling for a Total Look; Style, Dress and Finish Hair; Artistic Design in Hair Colouring; Artistic Design in Hair Cutting and Styling Techniques

Entry Requirements

NQ Hairdressing: Technical Services (Level 5), or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5, or relevant experience. Interview.

Progression Routes

SVQ Hairdressing at SCQF Level 7, or an HNC course in Hairdressing. Employment as a salon junior/junior stylist.
