This course is intended for those who wish to pursue a rewarding career in Mechanical Engineering at technician or engineer level. Covering from how a body moves to what it is made from and how these may be affected by its environment e.g. pressure and temperature, the course gives you an understanding of what is happening in a mechanical system.

The course includes Engineering principles, materials selection,dynamics, pneumatics and hydraulics, thermofluids, quality management, engineering mathematics, engineering communication and statics and strength of materials.

Attendance: Tuesday 9.00am-4.45pm.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths or Physics, or relevant NC. Interview.

Employment as an Engineering Technician or study at HND/Degree level.
