The course will prepare you for a career in the design and implementation of IT solutions and service management. As a graduate, you will be well-positioned for a computing career in the ever-evolving global oil and gas industry and its IT providers.

This course provides training in software development tools and techniques, IT service management, oil and gas engineering, and geoscience.

Throughout the course, content is complemented by practical work, undertaken in state-of-the-art facilities, using tools and techniques to allow you to gain the skills required to work within a technical IT environment.

You can exit after Stage 1 with PgCert IT for the Oil and Gas Industry.

You can exit after Stage 2 with PgDip IT for the Oil and Gas Industry.

Entry Requirements

Normally a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in a science or technical subject. Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
