You will study the following units as part of the course: Communication, Play in Early Education and Childcare, Children’s Development and Learning, Nutrition, Health and Wellbeing and Exercise to Music. You also have the opportunity to gain a Volunteering Award as you will participate in a Volunteering Experience within the local community.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, however motivation for study is essential. Entry is by interview where a written piece of work will be requested.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
