Study German and culture to Graduate Diploma level, at your own pace, when and where you like. Join Dundee's ‘virtual’ learning community, in regular contact with your German tutors and fellow students, and attend Immersion Days in Dundee.

Suitable for Secondary Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teachers who wishe to gain a recognised additional teaching qualification in German; Primary, Further or Adult Education teachers who would like to improve their German for teaching purposes; or advanced students of Spanish (Higher+) who wish to gain a University Diploma in German for work purposes or for personal interest.

Entry Requirements

Applicants will normally have a pass in Higher German (or equivalent, such as the Dundee Intensive German course by distance-learning), plus an undergraduate degree or equivalent. If you are a Secondary MFL teacher seeking an additional qualification in German your undergraduate degree should normally be in another Modern Foreign Language, and you should hold a current Secondary MFL teaching qualification.
