The general aim of this Unit is to develop skills linked to straightforward mathematical relationships. These include solving equations, understanding graphs and working with trigonometric ratios. The Outcomes cover aspects of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and reasoning.
This unit forms part of the National 4 Mathematics Course but can also be studied as a stand along unit. The National 4 qualification enables learners to select and apply straightforward mathematical skills in a variety of mathematical and real-life situations. Learners interpret, communicate and manage information in mathematical form.
You will require completion of a National 3 Lifeskills Mathematics Course, relevant component units or an equivalent course.
On successful completion of this course, you could progress to the National 5 level course.
