The Introduction to Playwork and Childcare supports learners to gain knowledge and understanding that will help them to contribute to the play and development of children and young people.
Learners will have the opportunity to develop their personal qualities, knowledge, and skills in play, playwork and childcare, communication and development wellbeing, and health and safety surrounding the topic.
The course comprises of units, which cover topics such as the process of play, child development and working with children who have additional support needs.
4 subjects at National 5 including English.
