This course builds on core human resource management theory and practice to examine the range of people management challenges which organisations face. The course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

To study on this course you don't need to have previous work or study experience in the field of Human Resource Management. Part of the course delivers teaching in the key concepts and practices of HRM, alongside developing the practical skills you need to become a successful HRM professional. In your final semester you'll also have the opportunity to do a consultancy case study, acting as a HR consultant to fictional companies, while solving realistic HR problems.

You can exit after stage 1 with PgCert Human Resource Management

You can exit after stage 2 with PgDip Human Resource Management.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of a second class honours degree or equivalent. Applicants without these formal qualifications but with significant appropriate/relevant work/life experience are encouraged to apply.
