Paisley Campus
The MSc Psychology (Conversion) is designed for those who possess an Honours degree in a discipline other than psychology, or a non-accredited psychology Honours degree and wish to specialise in psychology. It is professionally recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and represents the first step to becoming a chartered psychologist.
Through the degree you will gain a scientific understanding of the mind, brain and behaviour. Key skills will be developed in the collection, analysis and interpretation of data, which in turn will contribute to an understanding of the research and investigation process.
A strong applied focus reflects the teaching and research strengths of the psychology group, with emphasis on the importance of employability. We support students in developing and recognising both generic and transferable skills.
You can exit after 9 months with PgDip Psychology.
An Honours degree (2:2 or above) in any subject area, or a non-accredited psychology Honours degree.
