This a course that will develop your chef skills with both practical tasks and underpinning knowledge.

The Course is suitable for you if you have completed the professional cookery level 5, or if you have extensive experience in the kitchen and want to further your career by validating your experience.

This course will be taught by blended learning with theory classes conducted either face to face or by video conference, depending on your location. The practical parts of the course will be taught in our professional kitchen in Oban, with a mix of demonstrations, hands on experience and cooking for the college canteen and functions

There will be four separate practical blocks during the year, and you will have to travel to Oban to participate in these. The dates of these blocks will be confirmed at induction.
