This is a practical course which will enable you to develop the skills needed to progress to further study in Hospitality or Professional Cookery, or to move into an entry level job in the hospitality industry.
This course involves a mixture of practical and theoretical study including subjects such as Event Organisation, Customer Care, Alcoholic Beverages and Food Preparation Techniques. Part of the course will be delivered in a hospitality environment, including food preparation in a professional kitchen.
4 subjects at National 4 preferably including Hospitality or SVQ Hospitality or Cooking; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Applicants with experience in the hospitality industry may be considered on the basis of interview.
