Content

Hospitality is a growth industry both nationally and internationally, covering hotels, restaurants, pubs, leisure and travel. It needs good, trained staff and this course introduces you to the supervisory skills required for a successful and fulfilling career.

Our hospitality programmes aim to give you exciting and interesting practical experience in our own kitchens and through our partnerships with external organisations.

Students will study a range of mandatory units to include: The hospitality industry; Hospitality supervision; Financial and control systems; Food hygiene – intermediate; Food and beverage.

Students will also have the opportunity to study optional units in areas such as: Food production services, Events industry and Alcoholic beverages.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher, or Foundation Apprenticeship Business Skills, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Students will be required to attend for interview.
