Using a Keyboard

This course will introduce you to the computer keyboard, and provide you with basic keyboard skills.

During the course, you will learn how to do the following:
Demonstrate good working practices in relation to a computer; Correctly locate and use appropriate keys on keyboard; Enter text including letters, numbers, symbols, upper and lower case letters, punctuation; Use paragraphs and set margins.

Progression Routes

Following completion of this course, you may wish to progress to the Information and Communication Technology core skills unit at SCQF level 4.
