This course gives students the knowledge, skills and confidence to progress on to degree courses in forensic science, biology, chemistry and the health-related professions. It is suitable for those who have been out of formal education for at least three years, or five years if you have Higher or equivalent qualifications.
You will gain knowledge and expertise in a range of subjects including biology, chemistry, cell function, mathematics, communication and information technology.
No formal entry requirements. You have to have been out of full-time education for at least 3 years or 5 years if you already hold SCQF Level 6 or above qualifications. Entry by interview.
Possible progression to an HNC/D or year one of a degree course at another further or higher education institution.
