This course covers an introduction to a range of careers from travel agents, airline reservations, to resort representatives with an emphasis on Airport Ground Operations. The airport ground operations part of the course focuses on working at an airport as check-in staff and has direct links to employment at Glasgow airport.

You'll learn about:Air and surface travel;
European and Mediterranean tourist destinations; Resort representatives; Customer service skills in travel and tourism; Cabin crew an introduction; Tour Guiding; Resort representatives; Understanding Tourism in the Local Area; Leisure and Business Tourism; Travel Products and Services.

During the airport ground operations part of the course you will learn about the work involved in becoming check-in staff at Glasgow airport and on successful completion can be put forward for an interview with Swissport.
