If you are excited by the prospect of organising, coordinating, and creating a wide range of events and conferences then this is the course for you. It will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge required to pursue a career in this exciting and vibrant industry. You will have the opportunity to participate in many college and external events.

Units studied include: Organising an event; Events industry: an introduction; Marketing; Business and online communication; Event budgeting and funding; Event legislation; Work experience; Live performance events; Food and beverage events.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher, preferably English, Modern Studies or a business based subject plus 4 subjects at National 5; or relevant qualifications at SCQF Level 5 or 6. Interview.
